Rules Updates  

During the 2009-10 season, state high school associations will be allowed to use replay equipment, if available, in state basketball championships to determine the final outcome of games. This addition to Rule 2-2-1 was one of two major rules changes and five major editorial revisions approved for next season.

2009-10 Rules Changes

   
Eligibility  

Age Rule - A high school student who has reached his/her 19th birthday before Aug. 1 is ineligible. Any junior high (ninth grade) student who has reached his/her 16th birthday before Aug. 1 is ineligible. Any middle school student who has reached his/her 15th birthday before Aug. 1 is ineligible.
