Reporting Football Scores Promptly A Must

One Playoff Meeting Saturday At AHSAA Office

Each home team’s head football coach is responsible for having the score of each playoff game posted online on the Member School website within 40 minutes of the conclusion of the contest.

Remember to be prompt in reporting these games. Failure to post scores online within 40 minutes of the contest’s conclusion will result in a $100 fine. This same procedure will be followed in each of the first four playoff rounds.

One football playoff organizational meeting will be held after each playoff round in the AHSAA Office Building, 7325 Halcyon Summit Drive, Montgomery, for the teams that advance.  Due to limited space, it is requested that each school be represented by no more than two people (preferably the principal and head coach).

The purpose of each meeting is to establish game sites according to the rules and guidelines in the Fall Sports book, exchange rosters and game tapes, issue game tickets and handle other matters pertaining to the playoffs.  All schools in the playoffs are requested to bring to the meeting their last two game tapes but may exchange more game films by mutual agreement. If all schools participate by providing their best quality tapes, the tape exchange will be fair and easy for all coaches.

Please bring a printed copy of your game eligibility roster (Form 6) to exchange. Please make sure all fields of your online team roster are completed, verifying accurate jersey numbers.

Every playoff winner must be represented each Saturday:
10 a.m. - Classes 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A

Note: All playoff games are set at 7 p.m. CST.
