Hoover and Prattville make finals, 1A-6A semifinals Friday TICKETS NOW ON SALE

       Auburn, Ala. – The teams for the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s Class 7A state football championship game are set with Hoover and Prattville each winning semifinal games last weekend.
     That game will kick off the 2014 Super 7 Championships at Auburn University’s Jordan-Hare Stadium Dec. 3-5.  This Friday the AHSAA’s remaining six classifications will determine the other championship pairings in their respective semifinal games.
        Now is the time to avoid the long lines and last-minute rush. Tickets to all Super 7 Championship games are now on sale online at www.preptix.com/ahsaa.

       The Class 7A state championship game is set Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Jordan-Hare Stadium with a 7 p.m. kickoff.  The AHSAA’s first Unified Sports flag football state exhibition game will be played earlier in the day at 3:30 p.m.
     The AHSAA Class 3A finals are scheduled Thursday, Dec. 4, at 11 a.m., followed by the 1A championship game at 3 p.m. and 5A title game at 7 p.m. Class 4A will open the Super 7 Championship three-game schedule Friday, Dec. 5, at 11 a.m., followed by the Class 2A finals at 3 p.m. The Class 6A championship game will close out the competition later that night at 7 p.m.

         This is a special year for the AHSAA since history will be made with seven state champions crowned for the first time with the addition of the 7A classification.
        All schools, teams, students and fans are encouraged to be a part of this historic event and join in supporting the final teams of each classification as they compete for state titles.

     Advance tickets at $12 are valid only for all games that day. Group tickets are also available at a discounted price and can be purchased online through PrepTix.

     Additionally, fans have the opportunity to watch this year’s Super 7 from one of Jordan-Hare Stadium’s luxury suites. These suites are fully furnished, air-conditioned/heated, and offer the opportunity to order private catering. Suites range from $800 per game to $2,400 for the entire week. Suites can also be purchased online at www.preptix.com/ahsaa.

 

The daily schedule of games is as follows:

·       Wednesday, December 3

o   3:30 p.m. – Unified Sports State Game: Hewitt-Trussville vs. Lawrence County.

o   7:00 p.m. – 7A Championship: Prattville Lions vs. Hoover Bucs.

·       Thursday, December 4

o   11:00 a.m. – 3A Championship: TBD

o   3:00 p.m. – 1A Championship: TBD

·       7:00 p.m. – 5A Championship: TBD
Friday, December 5

o   11:00 a.m. – 4A Championship: TBD

o   3:00 p.m. – 2A Championship: TBD

o   7:00 p.m. – 6A Championship: TBD
