Auburn 1, McGill-Toolen Catholic 0
    Auburn (17-1-1) moved into the AHSAA Class 7A girls state soccer championship match with a 1-0 win over McGill-Toolen Catholic  (20-7-0) Friday at John Hunt Park.
     Oak Mountain (23-3-1) beat Bob Jones in the other semifinal 2-0.
     The Class 7A finals will be Saturday at 10 a.m., with the NFHS Network live-streaming the championship live over the NFHS Network.
    The Lady Tigers of Coach Chris Blight scored early in the second half of their semifinal match when junior Sarah Moore posted the only goal of the contest on a pass from junior teammate Hannah DeWeese.
     McGill-Toolen had two shots in the contest but no shots on goal.  Jackets goalkeeper Eva Knapstein had three saves for McGill-Toolen.

Oak Mountain 2, Bob Jones 0
    Oak Mountain (23-3-1) scored two first-half goals Friday to post a 2-0 victory over Bob Jones in the AHSAA Class 7A girls’ state soccer semifinals.
    The Eagles of Coach David DiPiazza took a 1-0 lead at 30:40 when Alexandra Dunn scored for Oak Mountain.  Lauren Beard notched the other goal with 1:40 left in the half on a soaring kick from Lauren Beard from 35 yards out to end the scoring.
     Bob Jones goalkeeper Taylor Felts had three saves and Avery Batson had three shots on goal.
    Oak Mountain won the Class 6A state title in 2014 and 2012 but moved to  Class 7A this school year when the AHSAA moved to seven classifications.
