Chris Heaps’ Golden Tigers (34-6) scored two unearned runs in the bottom of the fifth to break open a 1-1 game. Coach Helena hurler Riley Davis (2-5) needed only 70 pitches in his six inning of work. Davis allowed seven hits, one earned run and struck out one for Coach P.J. Guy’s Huskies (26-18). Landon Oliver collected three of the Golden Tigers’ hits and scored two runs. Skyler Stephens had a single and RBI and Reed Smith had two hits.
