All high school and highest level junior high/middle school head coaches (one head coach per school for each sport) must attend an annual rules clinic in their sports prior to the beginning of their sports' seasons.
This mandatory clinic is required in the sports of football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, wrestling, soccer and track. A school will be fined $300 for each head coach that does not meet this requirement.
Coaches who did not attend a rules clinic during All-Star Sports Week must take an online course on the AHSAA website. Log in to the Member School Section and select the sport test desired at the bottom of the Member School Section home page.
The online course fee is $40 for high school coaches and $20 for junior high/middle school coaches.
